p.a.v.e. Inaugural Symposium on Entrepreneurship and the Arts

Where: Arizona State University, Herberger College School of Theatre and Film, Tempe Campus
When: Nov. 7-8, 2008

In this two-day symposium, sponsored by the ASU Herberger College School of Theatre and Film p.a.v.e. program, filmmakers, actors, artists, musicians and academics from across the nation gather on the ASU campus to examine the need and logic behind arts entrepreneurship.

Nov. 7 begins with for dinner and the keynote presentation by Rick Cleveland, executive producer of “Six Feet Under,” with opening remarks by Kwang-Wu Kim, dean of the Herberger College of the Arts.

The three sessions on Nov. 8 center on “Arts Entrepreneurship Education,” “Business Ethics and the Arts,” and “Launching and Sustaining an Arts-based Venture.”
