Teaching Artists are extremely valuable as they allow their students to develop critical thinking, creative expression and basic learning skills through the arts. The Performing Arts Workshop is a Northern Californian non-profit organization that works to place arts education in schools and communities and allows teaching artists a supportive platform from which to explore the possibilities within arts education.
