2010 Chicago Creative Expo

The 2010 Creative Chicago Expo will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 10am-4pm at the Chicago Cultural Center. This year, TheIAE will be a sponsor of the event.

Now in its 7th year, this CCE connects artists and art organizations in all disciplines (music, dance, theater, film, design, new media, fashion, publishing, visual art) with the businesses, information, services and networks they need.

The Creative Chicago Expo is a free, day-long event that takes place throughout the Chicago Cultural Center.  It has three main components:  Vendors, Workshops and Consultants.

Vendors are grouped by discipline or service in GAR Hall, GAR Rotunda, the Randolph Street Cafe, and under the dome in Preston Bradley Hall.  Workshops and Consult-a-thon are held in meeting rooms and the wings of Preston Bradley Hall.

In 2009, 5,500 people attended the Creative Chicago Expo, meeting 130 vendors, participating in 23 workshops and making 200 appointments with 40 consultants.    This is a premier event to connect with Chicago’s top creative artists.
