Narrative explanation of financial summary:

  • We urged many of our rising artists in the Chicago area to attend, and join the contest. This is an invaluable tool to have.

I also recommend you join the elevator pitch. For other Chicago artists I would recommend tailoring the pitch to be about your next project. Be excited about your upcoming events, and be sure to include your current artistic focus.

Most people have the hardest time knowing when an elevator pitch is appropiate to use:
We always tell our new artists, painters, and sculptures to never just answer “fine” to the question of how they are–no matter if the question was asked rhetorically.
You should be anwering with energy, and enthusiasm about this amazing new project your are working. They will respond with interest and want to know more.

That is the idea behind the elevator pitch.

  • Dan

I’m gutted that I missed this but living in the UK I haven’t got a hope in hell in getting to Chicago 🙁
Anything like this happening next year?

  • Thank you for writing a couple of very relevant topic. So much tenderfoot entrepreneurs these days advertise and supply and promote no matter they can without even having a concrete idea of what things to prioritize. Keep them coming!
