This week I flew to 2 different cities on day trips, spoke to 4 different groups about different aspects of creativity, economic development & entrepreneurship, sold $75k worth of clarinets, and picked out 45 more. (Thank God all of my creative addictions- and they are addictions. And if that word really bugs you, call them obsessions. My obsessions are all safe, healthy, thought-provoking, good for me, and pay for me to continue to chisel my life into a life I am proud to be living.)
In between all this weeks activities, I played my clarinet, surfed the internet, read, listened, reflected and learned. Here are 2 questions I felt the urge to think about this week and where I found gold.
If you imagine less, less will be what you undoubtedly deserve. Do what you love, and don’t stop until you get what you love. Work as hard as you can, imagine immensities, don’t compromise, and don’t waste time. Start now. Not 20 years from now, not two weeks from now. Now. ~ Debbie Millman
